The above video was recorded impromptu is an example of performing in a social situation for people whom I had just met. This video is a good example of my fun, relaxed performing style and you'll see how I interact and banter with the people as well as how I deliver the 'magic' to them in a unique way.The spectators experience intense concentration, suspense, confusion and surprise all in the one short routine.
Why hire me to do close-up magician?
Close-up magic can be used to put smiles on peoples faces on virtually any occasion. It can be used at weddings to keep guests happy and entertained; corporate events to improve brand awareness and promote good relationships between the company and potential clients or virtually any other event that you wish to make that little bit special.
It's one thing watching magic on TV or on stage, but when someone does something impossible right under your nose, its makes the effect much stronger. I regularly perform effects where the magic happens in the spectators hands.
How long does a close up performance last?
Usually 1 hour is enough for up to about 50 guests and 2 hours for 100 guests. If your having an event with more guests, I can sometimes offer the a second close up magician also at a discounted rate for hiring us both. The time I actually take performing for each group though can vary considerably. I typically perform for around 10 to 15 minutes per group which is more than enough time to provide the right amount of interactive magic to leave your guests happy, satisfied and gobsmacked.
